South Korea's current account surplus stood at seven-and-a-half billion U.S. dollars in September... staying in the black for the fifth consecutive month.<br />That's the biggest surplus in 11 months.<br />A large gain in goods balance is cited as one of the main reasons behind the figure.<br />The surplus amount, however narrowed from a year earlier due to slowing exports.. according to data from the Bank of Korea.<br />The BOK attributed the on-year decline to lower prices for key exports including chips and petrochemical goods.<br />
